Fitzgerald scholar Kirk Curnutt kicked off the 2021 Fitzgerald Festival with a presentation on his new edition of three Fitzgerald short stories, All of the Belles: The Montgomery Stories of F. Scott Fitzgerald. Curnutt is Executive Director of the F. Scott Fitzgerald Society, Managing Editor of the F. Scott Fitzgerald Review, and the author or editor of numerous books and essays about Fitzgerald.

All of the Belles: The Montgomery Stories of F. Kirk Curnutt, professor and chair of English at Troy University serves as the executive director of the F. Scott Fitzgerald Society and as managing editor of the F. Scott Fitzgerald Review. He is the author of several volumes of literary criticism and fiction. All the Belles: The Montgomery Stories of F. Scott Fitzgerald., his new book, collects for the first time the trilogy of short stories that Fitzgerald wrote about Zelda’s Montgomery, Alabama. They capture the keen observation of manners, the comic insights, the lyricism, and the poignant, powerful sense of loss for which the Festival celebrates F. Scott Fitzgerald. He will speak and answer questions on May 20 to open the F. Scott Fitzgerald Literary Festival.
