The F. Scott Fitzgerald Art Poster Contest 2023 has been completed

Artists are invited to submit a poster design for the F. Scott Fitzgerald Literary Festival Poster Contest which is part of our annual festival. Below is the criteria.
Who: Artists resident in MD, DC and VA.
When: Response to this call for entry that you will participate must be received by TBD Spring.
Include your name, phone, email and webpage.
What: A Poster Design Competition for use by the F Scott Fitzgerald Literary Festival.
Where: Exhibition will be held for the winner and finalists at the F. Scott Literary Festival to be held in Rockville, MD in October.
The poster should reflect one of our themes based on:
1. Fitzgerald's life or works (possibly the family association with Rockville)
2. The Honoree
3. The Honoree's writings
4 This year’s festival theme.
5. Some meaningful combination of 2 or more of the above
Submissions must be limited in size to 18" x 24" max. and 11" x 17" minimum. 2D framed and ready for exhibition.
Submission should include: artists name, title, size, material, bio, artist statement about the artwork and its connection to the themes, website, email, phone number and full address.
The First Place winner's original artwork will belong to the FSF Literary Conference, Inc. The Festival will have use of the image for reproduction in social media, hard copy material and our website. The artist will maintain rights to reproduce the work. Submissions must be delivered TBD (location TBD in Rockville.) No return postage/shipping available. Judging will take place. Work not selected must be picked up after the judging.
Honorarium/Award: $1000 will be awarded to the winner. 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded $100 each. Each winner will receive a FREE ticket to the festival. (We encourage the artist to be at the Festival to respond to attendees' comments and questions.)
